Library quarter morocco over maroon cloth. An immaculate and untouched set, without library stamps, each part (volume) with the bookplate of a North of England Library and Museum Reference Department and with the blindstamp of the library on the outer top cover of each volume.
A binding of this quality would nowadays cost in the region of £300 for the set of 3 volumes.
Seldom, if ever, found as here complete in all 3 parts containing 21,568 questions to, and answers from, from senior medical practictioners, presentatives of mental institutions around Britain, and many societies and organisations involved in related fields.
A separate 'Report' was published. This set, however, contains the formal and rare Minutes of Evidence leading to that report, essential research material of great importance unavailable elsewhere.
NOTE: The set is large and heavy and must be collected in York, Yorkshire. No postage unless by prior special arrangement.
